We are located in quiet Clackmannan at the bottom of Brucefield Crescent, over the tarmac bridge. Once you have gone over the bridge, please follow the road around to the right and then to the very bottom of the driveway through the black gates.
Absence of local "town centre" signposts means it's all too easy to find yourself driving out of the town before you've properly driven into it, however, follow the above directions and you will get there.Alloa town centre is about 3 miles west of our B&B along the A907. Alloa has been the County town of Clackmannanshire in Scotland since 1822. It is situated 7 miles east of Stirling on the north bank of the River Forth. The settlement dates back to medieval times with the Alloa Tower built in 1363. The Tower is one of the largest tower houses in Scotland and has a dungeon, a first-floor well and a collection of Mar family portraits and silver, it was restored in the 1990’s and is open to the public. There are quite a lot of shops, bars and cafes in the centre of the town. These include, among many others; Tesco (24hs), Asda 8am - 10pm New Look 9am - 5:30pm, Subway, Boots the chemist 8:30am - 6pm, Azad Tandoori, Bar Aldo's, Di'Nisi cafe, The Locker Room (Sports Bar), The Old Brewery (good food and entertainment at weekends). There are also plenty of taxis, and a bus service.
